Pros
Our owner does frequent Q&A sessions with our entire 500 person company, answering any issues or questions in real-time via video call, which I think shows an incredible amount of transparency. The company also did not lay off a single employee of those 500 during the COVID-19 pandemic which is also highly respectable and had to be tough. I think how companies responded to the pandemic and treated their employees during that trying time shows a lot- and I was impressed with how Mac responded. Something to note if you are looking to work here. The KC office specifically also has great management currently, I look forward to coming to work.
Cons
The office is divided into too many segments, leasing on one side, resident services on the other and management in the middle. It makes sense for workflow but doesn't allow for any communication between leasing and the rest of the office. Everyone seems in their own bubble some days.
