Pros
I have worked at Magna for the last 4 years and overtime have grown to truly appreciate how much they care about their employees and their growth within and without the company. I started working at Magna in one department, and eventually worked my way up to a manager of a different department. The fact that they promote within and give their employees a chance to grow shows that they want them to succeed and they value their work ethic. Overtime I began to have a change of heart with my career (nothing to do with Magna, I just had a personal revelation) and I asked to take some time off to get myself figured out, and decide if I really wanted to leave the corporate world. The owners were INCREDIBLY understanding and supportive, and allowed me to take time off without the risk of losing my job. That was the moment I knew that Magna truly cares about not just their employees and how well they can work, but they care about their overall well-being -- not something you see everyday in corporate America! Eventually I began a career in education and I still happily work for Magna part-time. I am blown away by how successful this company is, yet how they still maintain that "familial" environment within their workplace. That is not easy for a big corporation to do, yet they do so effortlessly by their genuineness and desire to make it feel like one big family, which is does. Overall Magna is a wonderful place to work, with great benefits like the ones mentioned above.
