This position isn't for everybody. - Scheduling Coordinator Magna Legal Services Employee Review

Pros

Free lunch on Wednesdays. They are flexible if you need to leave early for any reason.

Cons

First and foremost, there's a high turnover rate--that should be a red flag. The work environment is a negative one and it is very stressful. In addition, Magna doesn't provide formal training if you don't have experience in the industry. What they call training is essentially having you sit with the manager for two weeks, while he/she performs routine duties. Employees call-out often, though the Scheduling department is understaffed. Also, to get employees to work through lunch, they buy you lunch so that you feel guilty about taking the break you are entitled to.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We're sorry to hear your experience didn't meet expectations, and we take reflections like yours seriously. Onboarding, clear expectations, and manager alignment are areas we're actively investing in as we grow, and candid feedback like this helps us get better. While we can't discuss any individual's employment or departure publicly, we take our obligations to departing employees seriously and aim to handle every separation fairly and respectfully. We genuinely wish you the best in your next chapter.
