Pros
* Great pay, great benefits * There are some really good folks working here, some bright and hardworking people. * You will learn a lot. * Virtually unlimited overtime * You don't spend much of your own money during the week.
Cons
* The constant travel is exhausting, there is high turnover among FSEs * Management is pretty much clueless, they chase and invest in stupid ideas. * Personal performance review process is BS, your supervisor has no idea what you do if you're on the road constantly. Unfortunately your raise is based on the results of this. * There isn't much collaboration between departments. * It can seem like a "good ole boys club". You're better off playing the game and trying to get into the "inner circle". * Supervisors could care less about what your real career aspirations are. They just want to hear that you are completing your assigned tasks. Not much upward mobility.
