Pros

The products are high quality

Cons

Mgmt is stodgy, arrogant; not open to change to make the company more competitive. Slow to react to market. Frustrating place to work. Cap bonus at 110% and then raise quota 12% each year so each year its harder to make the same amount. Lots of turnover on the sales side each year.

Pros

- Great work/life balance. - Great teammembers (outside of IT management) - Near market pay. - Good health coverage. - Annual Christmas tool raffle/prizes. - Professional development/e-learning materials are provided. - Working in a beautiful and modern facility (clean and well-kept)

Cons

- Toxic motivation practices by IT management (threats of termination, frequent negative reinforcement, calling out a mistake in a large email group with the intent to embarass the employee rather than addressing it one-on-one, asking other employees their opinion about another employee that is late once what they think about the tardy), - Misleading employees about new opportunities that don't materialize. - Micromanagement practices (reviewing every support incident, reprimanding after a single Teams message sent during a lunch break), - No performance-based raises. - No bonuses (except an $85 gift card annually). - Little-to-no advancement opportunities (layoffs to reduce headcounts were performed in 2023). - Very minimal (almost non-existent) training and sparse knowledge base documentation for new hires. It is mostly sink or swim. - No performance metrics or SLA to determine employee performance. Performance is often measured by emotions and the personal relationship with management.
