Pros

Benefits, fair salary, pre pays HSA medical insurance card calculated by your biweekly contribution for the year

Cons

Seasoned nurse assigned as trainer very snooty, nit picks, and wants you to mimic her writing style. This may sound petty, but when your working directly with someone for 3- months straight, it becomes intolerable. She was not open to suggestions and she could not think outside her box. As a very experienced appeal writer, with a very high overturn rate, I found this insulting. I really loved the team, and management was very supportive, but I could no longer tolerate the 1:1. Everyone thought fondly of her, so rather than explaining to management this was not a good fit, I left quietly and moved on. It really is a shame because I would of liked to stay long-term.

Cons

You know this company is bad when you're willing to come back a year later to write a throughput review. Believe other reviews about management on the nursing and coding side of this company. Appeal nurses have to report to the rudest, most condescending senior leader. She is going to expect you to write your letters her way or the highway. Very difficult to work with during the recruitment process, I had to turn down GREAT candidates for her clinical positions.... it was heartbreaking to know it was because... idk what it was because. Sometimes I think she's genuinely a hateful person. So many great nurses could've been hired, she knows the power director has, and use it in the worst way. R1 RCM will be a better option for you guys!! Coders beware: pay is extremely low and hours aren't guaranteed
