Pros
Demand for the product creates steady employment. Some of the products require so much support that they are job and customer billing goldmines.
Cons
Management is done by the numbers - as a result, many good people have been lost. The promotable people are numbers at all costs types who show little to no respect for their direct reports. The customer does not come first. Billability does. A whole big branding and marketing push is underway, but is is just so much rah-rah propaganda. Look in the employess' eyes, they are tired, beaten, and not proud of what they re selling.
