Pros

Monday Thru Thursday and half day Fridays. Low stress half the week. You get a lot of freedom.

Cons

Very frustrating work environment. Entirely too much everybody does everything mentality. You are given no power to manage but are expected to make things happen. Oh and the majority of the problems stem from the fact that you are expected to have cars that show up on wednesday prepared for sale on thursday. Old technology. No Innovation or desire to innovate. The majority of your day is just busy work to keep things moving along. Most of the problems could be fixed with systems but they want you to provide effort.

Pros

Flexible scheduling, and plenty of volunteer time, if you need extra money in your pocket - the ability to use your cell phone - have a lot of freedom without people looking over your back directly. But they're constantly scouring the lot watching. They call it policing the lot

Cons

Little room for advancement unless you are young - managers act like they're bi polar smile at you one minute and give you a dirty look the next - GM is very toxic and is a liar. Compensation is only slightly over minimum wage - company makes billions in profit - work outside in every weather condition, whether it's pouring rain and 5° or sunny and 100°
