Pros

Overall my time at Manpower was a good experience. The benefits were good, PTO was generous and the culture was pleasant. I worked with allot of great people, who were very caring and worked hard getting people back to work.

Cons

As far as negatives, the compensation was low, they didn't follow through on my pre negotiated salary or PTO time. The Regional VP never signed off on it, so it didn't go into effect. I'll take ownership on that, I should have waited for the signed compensation offer before I accepted the role. I would say they started to stray away from their purpose and promise to our candidates, which was a little disturbing. It was more of an operational role that a sales role, which is one reason why I left. They want to be sales organization, but they have operational leaders. Manpower is a new marketing department with a low budget, which makes it difficult to build brand awareness. Overall, they're the world's 3rd largest staffing agency, primarily driven from a cross seas, with a very small presence in the states. I never really felt they had a good market strategy thru Covid or how to navigate thru our low unemployment rate. Again, they're an operational organization, they manage what's in front of them. Lastly, extremely top heavy, which caused a disconnect from senior leadership to the field.
