Pros

Management is actively listening to employees because they want to improve and create a company with proud employees. Company wants to attract talented and qualified employees and pay competitive rates. Company is family friendly, family oriented.

Cons

Poor communication between departments. Over-taxing of current manpower in attempt to beat deadlines Company very reactive to issues instead of being proactive. In fear of backlash from management, problems within departments are communicated too late to other departments that could prepare or mitigate.

We will continue to work on the inter-department communication. As we continue to grow, communication gets increasingly difficult. It is an area of focus for the leadership team. Please let me know what suggestions you have to improving this. I also understand the concerns on resource issues. We are working on strategies to reduce these problems. Our customers are not going to change their demands of MTI. MTI is going to have to find ways of meeting those demands. This why we continue to hire at all levels of the organization. However, due to the training required, even hiring puts a short term strain on the company. We will keeping working at it. Thanks.

Pros

Lots of learning opportunities. Lots of friendly colleagues. They try to have a family culture/ Christmas party etc. The CEO is an approachable guy.

Cons

After a year of working somewhere else where i was respected as an engineer, I realize I should have left this place way sooner than I did. The final straw was watching as they brought in people with the same and less qualifications as me to the same position - then titled them as an Engineer - when they never did that for me, and I had the qualification from the start. MTI is wicked bad Siloed as a company. Its hard to get any collaboration to happen across departments.
