Progressive company dedicated to improving products and processes. Employees are treated fairly and given opportunities to grow professionally. Products are very high tech and demanding. Emphasis is on excellence.

Cons

Salaries are somewhat lower than area averages.

Thank you for the kind words. I especially appreciate the recognition of our commitment to excellence. The products we make are very difficult and challenging. When you combine that with our emphasis on excellence, it does make for a demanding and rewarding environment. As for the salaries, MTI is committed to provide an above quality of work life. We will continue to monitor the marketplace to make sure our combination of salaries, benefits and work environment are very good. There are sometimes imbalances, but we will strive to fix them.

Lots of learning opportunities. Lots of friendly colleagues. They try to have a family culture/ Christmas party etc. The CEO is an approachable guy.

Cons

After a year of working somewhere else where i was respected as an engineer, I realize I should have left this place way sooner than I did. The final straw was watching as they brought in people with the same and less qualifications as me to the same position - then titled them as an Engineer - when they never did that for me, and I had the qualification from the start. MTI is wicked bad Siloed as a company. Its hard to get any collaboration to happen across departments.
