Pros

The medical mode of this company is direct primary care. A concept that allows more time with patients and is in my opinion an excellent model. I get to spend more time with my patients as opposed to the drive by visits of the traditional fee for service model.

Cons

The problem with this company is the mid level managers who are oblivious and unqualified to manage health centers and the staff who work there. The lack of communication is a major problem! They blatantly ignore our questions or concerns regarding patient care, the future of the company with the upcoming merge and to be frank, anything that doesn’t directly benefit them. They are not appreciative of the work the providers do here. The power trip amongst them is the worst part of it all. They have protocols and policies that they themselves do not follow. Everything here is basically “do as I say”. The level of incompetence from these mid level managers is astounding! They have no medical training, no idea what it takes to care for another human being but have to power to tell us physicians how to do their jobs? Oh, and to make it worst, they refuse to compensate us appropriately for our hard work. It’s madness! If you’re thinking of working here as a provider, think about all the hard work and sacrifices you made to earn your professional degree. Then think of the audacity of this company to have an administrative personnel with no medical training be assigned as your direct supervisor! How? During my career, I’ve never had a manager who was not the medical director or a fellow provider who understood what it meant to see patients all day and to be responsible for their care both at the office and after hours. Instead, at this company, providers are TOLD, not asked to adapt to the whatever policy they’ve miraculously decided, on any given day, to implement or ignore based on how it will benefit the company. If it were up to them, quality patient care would be mythical. We would all hear about it but never be able to achieve it as a provider. Very sad. Before anyone who is reading this, starts to think that I am a lone wolf who is bitter about the company, let me share this: from January 2024 to present day (June 2024) six physicians have resigned! Six! Seis! Two have already left, two will be gone by end of July and the other two will be gone by the fall. Let that digest…

Pros

Excellent professional staff and a dedicated team. Close to home. Variety of patients. They promote peoeto the level of their incompetence.

Cons

Slick management that turn their eyes to wrong, if it propels their career forward. If they dont want to answer a question you never hear from them. Report it to JR and they get hot on it, until HR thinks they are doing their.. Too much paperwork and they cut charting time.
