Communication is lacking between departments.
Senior technical IT position pay is pretty bad.
IT executive leadership is slowly destroying the IT departments which is very sad to see since those teams are filled with great people.
The IT department in particular suffers from being nickel and dimmed to death while at the same time seeing vast amounts of investments in things that are truly baffling and it's very telling.
Senior leaders are very cold and disconnected. Nobody has been confident in executive IT leadership here in years, yet that appears to be the only irreplacable position...
Hopefully it gets addressed before they lose more of their very talented and passionate workers, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
