Pros

Most of the digital team members are phenomenal and have done a great job working to maintain culture while being remote. You'll work with some very smart people on both the software and digital sides of the company! The CEO is transparent and you can tell he cares about the well-being of his people. The Denver office did have a great culture while in-office and was a great group to be around.

Cons

While the digital team has some great employees, it's not organized at all. Team roles are undefined, leadership is lacking direction, there are some in managerial roles that should not be. Massive amounts of misinformation is passed up to the exec team. The digital side of the company runs revenue, so the executive team doesn't dig into the problems at the team level very often. I believe this is being remedied with a new VP brought in to assist. The client facing digital team had 100% turnover when a new manager was put in place. That team is undervalued, underpaid, and taken advantage of. Marketron should be promoting from within, but they constantly hire people for a senior role with limited digital or broadcast experience. Those seniors are then trained by "juniors" who have been there for years. The pay gap between the roles was around $20k for doing the same job, but there are no clear expectations or benchmarks for juniors to grow or get raises. I would be wary accepting an offer here - ask some tough questions in your interview about management style, career pathing, team roles and processes, and the direction of the company going forward.

Pros

recruited from a good job to work for more money and a "great" company that was the leader in broadcasting technology. After successfully bringing multiple clients onboard, getting thanks and cudos from the owner and many atta-boy emails, I was laid off with no warning because of 'budget cuts". Reduction, twice in the same year. never again
