Pros

Decent Salary is the only pro

Cons

There is no proper training program. They won't give appraisal saying the company is at loss. It's been 2.5 years since the last appraisal. The management is very worst, the HR's have more power than the managers. Even the managers fear the HR especially in mysore location. No more WFH available. They will force you to work from office even though none of your teammates are there in your office location. Apart from this the management is going through considerable changes so nobody's sure about what is going on.

Thank you for the feedback on your experience at Marlabs. While we’re pleased to hear that you found our compensation competitive, we're concerned about the challenges you've mentioned, including those around training, appraisals, management dynamics, and especially the compulsion of the 5-day work from office. It is especially of concern because Marlabs has a hybrid, 3-day work-from-office model. While employees are welcome to utilize our spacious and collaborative office facilities all 5 days of the week, they are not required to do more than 3 days a week. Kindly approach us to share more details so that we can actively work at checking on these concerns and help enhance our employee experiences. Rest assured we're committed to ensuring Marlabs has a great work environment and shall duly consider your suggestions.

Pros

Marlabs have indeed placed me with their client that had a need for my skills. I did find the my interlocutor recruiter to be a pleasant person. The contract stipulated payments at 30 days after customer signed my timesheet for each month of work.

Cons

1. The company was late by at least three weeks to complete negotiations with the customer about my pay rate before I could start and it was difficult to get any information on the process even though I was told the customer authorized to hire me. 2. I did not have wisdom and/or option to include penalty clause into the contract for unreasonably delayed payments. 3. The first two payments were delayed and overdue by 4-3 weeks each. 4. Once my contract was completed and terminated after 6.5 months, my 5ths payment was overdue by 5 weeks. My 6ths is overdue by 5 weeks now even though I was assured it should have been released last week and would have been 4 weeks overdue. My 7th and final payment "should be processed soon after" in the words of my recruiter, but I have no based for any confidence I will get my two final payments.
