It's wonderful to know that you echo our sentiments on how we value our employees. Yes, Marlabs takes pride in taking care of its employees. Also, we are concerned about what you have mentioned under the "Cons" section. As is standard best practices across the industry when a client project ends due to any reason, Marlabs employees are benched for a few months or until a new project comes along, whichever is first. And while on the bench, the employee is encouraged to upskill their capabilities by taking on a relevant course for free on our Coursera. The courses usually help equip benched employees to take on other roles in the company as they become available. It has also happened often that depending on the requirement internally, some of our benched employees have also found a match in other departments. We urge you to please share your grievances with the HR team to help resolve them for you.

Pros

Marlabs have indeed placed me with their client that had a need for my skills. I did find the my interlocutor recruiter to be a pleasant person. The contract stipulated payments at 30 days after customer signed my timesheet for each month of work.

Cons

1. The company was late by at least three weeks to complete negotiations with the customer about my pay rate before I could start and it was difficult to get any information on the process even though I was told the customer authorized to hire me. 2. I did not have wisdom and/or option to include penalty clause into the contract for unreasonably delayed payments. 3. The first two payments were delayed and overdue by 4-3 weeks each. 4. Once my contract was completed and terminated after 6.5 months, my 5ths payment was overdue by 5 weeks. My 6ths is overdue by 5 weeks now even though I was assured it should have been released last week and would have been 4 weeks overdue. My 7th and final payment "should be processed soon after" in the words of my recruiter, but I have no based for any confidence I will get my two final payments.
