Pros
There can be opportunities to advance and switch to different departments; good company culture.
Cons
Too many layers at corporate level. The efficiency wheel turns slowly. Low turnover, probably too low as people can get complacent & not open to new ideas. Traditional environment, not very open to alternative work arrangements such as telecommuting, etc.
