Pros

Great health benefits, many job transfers available all over the world. Allowed to change jobs after 6 months (associate) after 1 year (management)

Cons

Lack of respect from management regarding home and work life. Low wages in industry as compared to other industries, although Marriott is about mid pay scale within industry. Hospitality jobs are in general very low paying.

Pros

great company, great team, hours are flexible and the team is great. a lot of room to make money

Cons

strict on their callout policy. sometimes you need coverage and team members aren't willing to cover for you and you are left with dealing with the write ups. Hard to move up unless you are favorited

Pros

Free meal, great management team that genuinely cares about the employes.

Cons

Employee parking is a daily struggle with no real solution in sight. Traffic in/off the island is just as bad. Co-workers are hit/miss. Some care and truly want to do their part, others just there for a temporary paycheck. A lot of turnover with new faces weekly.
