      Pros

      Excellent people, great atmosphere, democratic relationship b/w different levels in the organization, relatively well paid, invest long term into employees development, great place to work and grow, outstanding treatment of associates, unique and exciting culture

      Cons

      Has been finding it's way in the last 5-7 years, changing course and moving from EU/UN style collegian balanced and distributed leadership to centralized US focused organization, losing great talent around the world and having a large impact on the original Mars corporate culture. It is not easy to find balance between speed of change and market competition vs quality and Mars cultural principles.

      Pros

      I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.

      Cons

      None so far—still new, but my experience has been very positive.
