Pros

You get to be your own "boss". have a flexible schedule, ability to work from your home office. you meet a variety of new people & you're helping woman(& occassionally) men feel really good about themselves. Personal development & goals are supported & celebrated. Plenty of opportunitys to attend trainings, workshops & conferences/seminar. The foundation also does wonderful things for each of its causes & it's wonderful to be part of something so great.

Cons

Your paid off your commissions, so weekly pay WILL vary depending on amount of consults & sales that were performed that week. A weekly schedule/plan is a must. must stay commited though, you will have up & down months. If you are depending on this as your only source of income, know that it takes some investment & a little time to build a steady base line of clients, until you do this you will probably still have to have another source of income.

Pros

Wonderful coworkers, amenities at the Mary Kay Building, and overall a mostly pleasant place to work from a day to day perspective.

Cons

Senior management seems totally lost. Strategy is ever shifting, and seems based more on whatever management's current flight of fancy happens to be. Little to nothing has been done to address the very real long-term issues related to the business. There's a reluctance to meaningfully change or address systemic issues leading to an existential risk to the business. It's so bad, the former CEO is suing the current CEO for mismanaging the company. They are father and son. It's that bad.
