Pros

Free products, personal face to face beauty consulting, designer red jackets, one on one training with original recruiter, positive driven team members, that pink Cadillac, and you work on your schedule!

Cons

Required to purchase a $100 startup kit, required to spend $300 for products in order to receive discount prices, sometimes you feel isolated from your team bc you didn't purchase $300 to actually be a Mary Kay Beaty advisor, you have to keep every receipt you receive bc being an independent beauty adviser you have to do all of your tax especially if you make over $600 in sales, even with discounts products are sky high expensive!

Pros

The people who are left are lovely

Cons

You are expected to perform outside your job description. Promotions are nearly impossible. Layoffs are now part of the culture. The "pink bubble" only applies to you when they need you. Once they declare you disposable, their attitude towards you drastically changes. When you get laid off, their package is pittance.
