Pros

Large support network of other clinicians on staff

Cons

The executive team is more worried about keeping their salaries high than keeping staff retention high through fair wages and supporting staff. Clinicians are underpaid, overworked, and only hear from the executive staff when there is a layoff or once a quarter for the executive staff to present the all staff meeting. I know who the executive team is… but they don’t know who we the clinicians are and it shows. They don’t invest in relationships with clinicians, but they’re quick to defend their role (and salary) at the organization. “Times are hard for everyone” says the executive staff person making $300,000 a year.
