Business Outlook
Pros
Flexible work hours, no micro-management, can work from home as much as needed. Great benefits. Immediate group works well as a team. Hospital staff is generally pleasant to work with. Work feels meaningful because of its close connection to patient care.
Cons
No chance for growth. Everyone gets a flat 2% raise every year regardless of performance. Many meetings in which we are warned that Partners is "tightening its belt". Potential layoffs after Epic conversion. Corporate Values Statement doesn't match the reality of the culture. Teamwork between different corporate groups is not good; some groups are obstructive or unresponsive.
