Pros
There are a number of hospitals that you can work for and all use the same software, payroll, etc. Partners also has a number of perks for working with them, such as discounted events that are changed weekly. In addition, the hospitals are large and well-known with good reputations. It's nice to work for a place where you can easily switch between different hospitals and positions.
Cons
Some of the hospitals sometimes try to cut costs where they shouldn't be cut. For instance, trying to downsize departments that are vital to patient care. I think there are cuts that should be made in other areas, but not those that are deeply involved in patient care and safety.
