Pros
Incredibly understanding and flexible when I had a major life event. Co workers were friendly. For students who love math, I don't think I could find a better job. Work hours are very reasonable for students.
Cons
When I was there, there was a lack of middle management. This means the center director was often stressed by having to juggle reining in the kids and meeting with parents. As for the instructors, our responsibilities were often stretched to compensate for the lack of middle leadership leading to sub optimal instruction. Pay is not the most competitive. The center director said themself that if you want to get *paid* for tutoring become a private tutor.
