Pros

Love working at Mathnasium - it's so cool to help the kids actually UNDERSTAND the material more than just getting the right answer. Be a good Instructor and it's usually pretty easy to move up in the ranks to Lead Instructor or Assistant Center Director (obviously depends on the center, but I know there's always so much to do at our center and we're always looking for awesome Instructors to take on more responsibilities).

Cons

Hours are usually in the afternoon/evening which isn't always ideal, but it's great for people that have other jobs/things going on during the day.

Pros

Flexible hours, good support structure, and you get to meet lots of amazing kids!

Cons

Not really a long term-career path unless you want to own a franchise. Some kids are a pain to deal with

Pros

Rewarding. Supportive and collaborative team environment. Opportunity to develop leadership and management skills. Good mix of administrative work, customer service, and instruction. Flexible scheduling compared to many full-time office jobs.

Cons

Pay is relatively low for the level of responsibility. Some repetitive administrative tasks. Staffing shortages can require filling multiple roles at once.
