      Pros

      Requesting time off is easy and I have never been denied a time off request, and the schedule overall is very consistent.

      Cons

      Despite claims to the contrary, everything boils down to money. Revenue is important but it seems to be the only metric that truly matters to the owner. When issues with balancing payroll arise or when lead generation suffers, the solution offered consistently is "convert more leads, bring in more revenue". Training for management is a weak point as well, with the expectations being fluid and not explicit for the position.

      Pros

      Flexible hours that I could choose, nice working space. My boss was nice and very reasonable. Pay was decent after I completed some certifications. When the teaching was effective it was pretty rewarding and it can be fun to talk to the kids.

      Cons

      It was honestly a very tiring job. The kids can get really rowdy and difficult to manage, especially if you have to teach three at the same time. Management required us to use tablets and a finicky platform for worksheets that was not helpful and forced me to further split my attention.
