Pros
It's a job, sort of.... Hours are sometimes adjusted if need be. The store employees that manage to stay are good to work with and very under paid people.
Cons
I have worked with the public most of my life in one form or another. I have had, and do have, employees in my small company. This has been a learning experience in how NOT to treat people that work for you. In a company that made 3 billion in 2014 it somehow just can't seem to afford to pay more than $8 and change to people just starting. What is most offensive is the constant flaunting of the companys wealth on store TV sets with the volumn so high that you can barely hear the customers. Monster trucks, motorhomes, expensive trucks and boats, extravagant vacations, etc. all at the cost of store employee pay. Over time this builds contempt for the company by the employees. Not very smart. No reviews, no pay raises and no meal breaks don't cut it either. Management is a joke. In the last year six people have come and gone. Some stayed less than a week. I think the worst part of this is that the brass in Utah could care less as long as the money keeps coming. The alleged contest winners are mostly located in or near Salt Lake. Interesting since Mavrik covers several states. Hey Mavrik, your people notice this stuff. Think they are too strupid to notice? Skull and Bones logo are also known to many people, they notice this also.
