Pros

Most of your teammates are good people

Cons

Upper management live in a fantasy land. I want to called the Mavis land of make Believe. We are normally working by yourself to run the store. These are your job functions, 1 - walk out to every car and write up and cash out customers, 2– write repair orders once they are in the shop, 3 - pull the tires for the shuttle, 4 - manage and call all the quotes, 5 - answer the phone, 6-supervise the shop employees who could careless about following rules because most are drug addicts, 7 - provide good customer service, 8 - sign up customers for the Mavis card, 9, make sure you are getting the customer to submit surveys and reviews. 10, - get a Call from the RTM why we have not sold any shocks, 11, get a call from the RTM why we did not call the quotes, 12, get a call from the RTM why we have no Mavis cards, 13, Get a call from the RTM ....... it just don’t stop. Note this is all by yourself. - to sum it up overworked and under paid. No sense of reality of store employees. Oh and if you hit the button “booked for the rest of the day,” it would be better to start a nuclear war

Pros

It’s fun to work with the customers and learn about different Tires, learning to recognize quality product over junk and being able to communicate same to customers.

Cons

There could be a significant amount of Micro-Management They may promote people with much less experience over others who have been there awhile People who are relatively inexperienced may “Coach” people w/ much MORE experience. A “Trainer” may train the same person who trained them. You may work here awhile and earn the same base pay as someone starting tomorrow. They may tell you to do something one way, 2 weeks later tell you to do it another way and in the 3rd week tell you to go back to the original way. They may want you to follow an established set of guidelines until otherwise. They may use their telephone system to filter calls from more affluent areas to certain individuals and less affluent areas to other individuals.
