Pros

Nothing exciting after purchasing tire kingdom

Cons

Mavis bought out tire kingdom and mechanics were getting paid so good, especially certified techs with ASE’s. Now mechanics are taking a major hit and tire techs are making nearly as much as mechanics. So far I’m losing out on an average of $300+ per week with mavis compared to tire kingdom. Imagine working hard to get certified and all the certifications to get paid nearly the same as a non certified tire tech. Their quota system is terrible, wheel alignments pay only $4 each when TK employees with all ASEs were getting well over $30+ for each alignment, coolant flushes only pay like $1 to do which takes forever to do properly and doesn’t count towards your service quota. So many things I could go on about. Their computer system reminds me of when you first boot up windows 95 on the setup screen pressing f1 and f2 and all that nonsense. Feel like we are doing computer coding to check our commission and claim jobs.

Pros

Coworkers at the store are great, love getting overtime, current store manager is great overall, location is clean enough

Cons

RTM is not friendly and doesn't not do what he's supposed to and is forgetful, the company doesn't fix things that are in dire need at any of the stores such as leaky roofs and lifts, pay is lower than the average, needing Google reviews and surveys for repeat customers is unnecessary, too much favoritism within the company, higher ups threaten jobs way too much that it stresses out everyone in the location
