      Pros

      Great compensation - learn a lot about Medicare and its appeals process - very knowledgeable staff of legal and medical professionals - great place to begin a career in medical, health care or insurance appeals - benefits are okay

      Cons

      Very few if any opportunities for advancement within the appeals department - contract-based work which translates into very little job security - management is not always forthright
