Pros
The culture is by far the coolest thing about working here. It is very important to leadership that every single employee here feels valued everyday, and you don't find that just anywhere. I have been in the benefits industry for years, and I don't think I have ever seen a company offer better benefits and perks than Maxwell. 100% covered medical, dental, vision, disability, life are a given, but that also extends to gym memberships, fitness devices with a giftcard rewards program, fully stocked kitchen always, company retreats/dinners. The leadership here is amazing, they absolutely set a standard of excellence and push each of us to be better every day. Hard work and dedication are an absolute must here, but that is coupled with an open time off policy, which is just another way leadership demonstrates their faith in us to do our jobs, and do them well.
Cons
Its a start up, so work/life balance can be a challenge some weeks, and working over 40 hours a week is absolutely the norm. Personally, I am motivated by what we are trying to achieve here so it doesn't phase me, but if you are looking for a structured "punch in at 8 punch out at 5" job, this would not be the place for you.
