Pros

McDonalds offers very flexible hours. McDonalds is great for students or stay at home mothers who want to work a couple hours while the kids are at school. Communication between management and crew is outstanding. There is no confusion about any of the products sold. For example, there is a 10 page book on how to make a yogurt paret. Compensation was above minimum wage, and there was a health plan that cost about $40 a month. Managers get one week vacation a year. Employees are constantly recognized for hard work with pins for their tie, gift cards to retail stores, and crew parties.

Cons

Low pay and working with people who do not speek English

Pros

You could recieve free meals during and right after your shift,as well as free drinks, ok work life balance for part time,

Cons

Working environment was highly unprofessional and toxic at the time, workers would call customers the r slur behind their back as well as using the r slur at every given opportunity,I would work around 7 or 6 hours and would sometimes go weeks of shifts without getting any kind of break . The only sort of break you get is from using the restroom. Sometimes people would not communicate on schedules. I had a day unavailable because I was attending community college at the time, they called me right as I was headed into class and I assumed it was spam as I didnt recognize the number ,the next day they got upset with me for no showing, when I had been open about what times I was available and unavailable since the interview and management knew. Everyone always in a bad mood, customers and staff. Was not trained to do certain things and then would have management upset with me for it. Draining experience, also unfriendly to autistic people.
