Pros

50% discount on food Flexible schedule simple hiring process (the will hire anyone) uniforms were not bad breaks were equally distributed

Cons

McDonalds is a horrible place to work period. The management had absolutely no interested in training me. My second day on the job i was expected to know how to do everything by my self without any help. My training consisted of the manager telling me to watch some girl work and watch some videos. They expected me to be up to speed with the people working there for 5+ years with barley any training. Anytime i asked a question or asked for them to show me how to do something the manager would roll her eyes and get pissed off at me. On top of that, the management was VERY rude and unrespectful making comments about how i work and criticizing. Honestly if that manager spent 1/2 the energy actually training me instead of criticizing i might have learned what i was supposed to do. I know some other people who have had bad experiences working at micky d's but also know some who have had some good experiences so you never know. Either way i would never recommend McDonalds as a place for employment believe me the pay is horrible and there are many other places to work. Luckily i only had to deal with that B.S. for a month till i found i better job.

Pros

You could recieve free meals during and right after your shift,as well as free drinks, ok work life balance for part time,

Cons

Working environment was highly unprofessional and toxic at the time, workers would call customers the r slur behind their back as well as using the r slur at every given opportunity,I would work around 7 or 6 hours and would sometimes go weeks of shifts without getting any kind of break . The only sort of break you get is from using the restroom. Sometimes people would not communicate on schedules. I had a day unavailable because I was attending community college at the time, they called me right as I was headed into class and I assumed it was spam as I didnt recognize the number ,the next day they got upset with me for no showing, when I had been open about what times I was available and unavailable since the interview and management knew. Everyone always in a bad mood, customers and staff. Was not trained to do certain things and then would have management upset with me for it. Draining experience, also unfriendly to autistic people.
