Pros
Upbeat atmosphere, seems like a "family" from the start. Many opportunities for routes and steady work. They do semi-annual get-togethers with the team to give out awards and create a feeling of excitement for what is being done at the company. On the surface this company SEEMS family oriented.
Cons
New drivers do not get a choice of what route they drive. Employees who have been there the longest get seniority and you take whatever is left. If for some reason you are not able to complete a route that week, or if the dispatcher calls you in for a route you're unable to get to, you do not get your minimum pay for the week. Your pay is docked. So don't say "no" ever. In my experience the routes were made with the expectation of speed that just wasn't possible most of the time, due to traffic or waiting on the customer during their busy time. When trying to explain to the dispatcher why I was unable to complete my route in the given time, I was told that I wasn't a "team player". I was also asked to work more hours than was legal, and when I pointed this out to my manager I was once again treated like I wasn't a "team player" and that I was being divisive, and didn't belong in the company. I was unwilling to work illegally so I found work somewhere else.
