Pros
- The people you work with. These are some of the most knowledgeable and dedicated people in their respective industries who are great to work with and learn from. - The company has a strong culture that has endured for decades. The values were established from the start and have not changed. The first core value is "Our people are #1. Treat each other well, expect a lot, and good things will follow." It's hard to be perfect but this is strived for every day. There are many, many examples that support this value. - If you are client facing, we work with some of the most interesting organizations and help them solve their challenges. Client satisfaction is the ultimate goal and our customers regularly recognize our teammates. Our work is valued. - There is an annual plan to work from starting with each department's goals that roll up/influences corporate plans. You can have a say about what is and isn't working. - There are many teammate recognition programs that have been in place for years. There are opportunities to formally thank other teammates, annual awards, and more that support each other and the values.
Cons
At this time, you won't be working for a brand name company that is immediately recognized. Mechdyne works with global, world-leading organizations but is, we have been told, a best kept secret for years. That will change over time but, for now, don't expect a 'wow' from your friends or family when you say Mechdyne - but you'll get it when you share the client names and examples of our successes. There is a lot of work to do. Not sugar coating it. We work hard. But, go back to one of the values above. Working hard and smarter is acknowledged.
