      Pros

      Set schedule, appropriate pay, easy to get along and work with fellow staff, treated well during training, lunch breaks, able to request days off and find coverage.

      Cons

      Working holidays(to be expected in 24/7 ER), lots of discrepancies about certain procedures, treatment sheets are not the most efficient for ER.

      Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review! I'm pleased to hear that you are happy with your schedule and are taking your PTO. Making sure our hospital employees take time to recharge is critical, especially given the work that we do. We just announced a new hospital director for MedVet Dallas, Uptown and Richardson, who will be starting in a few weeks. I'm not sure what department you're in, but as that new leader onboards, I'm sure she'll want to hear suggestions for how we can be even better. Thank you!

      Pros

      The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

      Cons

      I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.

      Pros

      Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Ability to give the best care to all animals walking through the doors. Feeling like I am making a difference in Veterinary Medicine. Never a dull moment.

      Cons

      Can be overwhelming If you do not like fast paced environments, it may not be the best job for you.
