Pros

They really care about the treatment of animals here and they give you plenty of PTO

Cons

PTO is also used for sick days, etc. have to work 4 out of 6 holidays a year and 12hr shifts on weekends. My trainer shoved me onto other people for most of my training and was kinda rude and snobby a few times. But you will have that anywhere you go.

Pros

Very generous employee discount for employee pets Ability to bring my pet to work with me, extra helpful on days when my dog has physical therapy appointments scheduled Good team work, everyone seems to answer questions or is willing to explain things Management checks in to see if I feel supportive or if there's anything I need

Cons

I've been at my position for a month now and really don't have any negatives at the moment.

Pros

The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

Cons

I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.
