One of those is the ability to offer eligible employees a pet discount program for our services, including Emergency and Specialty Service, Lab Work, Consult/Exam Fees, Food and Wellness. Unfortunately we do not determine tax rates and the IRS requires that certain employee discounts over 20% are treated as taxable income.

      Pros

      The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

      Cons

      I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.

      Pros

      Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Ability to give the best care to all animals walking through the doors. Feeling like I am making a difference in Veterinary Medicine. Never a dull moment.

      Cons

      Can be overwhelming If you do not like fast paced environments, it may not be the best job for you.
