MedVet takes training and onboarding seriously and we will continue to invest significant time and resources in order to ensure all new caregivers are trained thoroughly and equipped for success. Although training periods vary depending on each situation, standard training for full time team members is a minimum of 4-6 weeks and can always be extended when needed. MedVet is committed to serving our Referral Partners and community 24/7 and we recognize that this requires mindfulness around scheduling and how we prioritize our team members’ needed time to relax with our continued needs on those less-preferred days and shifts. We strive to always foster an environment that is positive, teamwork-oriented, and compassionate. Additionally, the past year a lot of work and effort has been put into analyzing job descriptions, role assignment, and fair pay within each geographic area. We are constantly re-evaluating these items and adjusting where needed. Every employee has the opportunity to discuss career goals with managers and obtain their help working through a plan that involves both work by the team member as well as resources and support from MedVet.
