      Pros

      The pay is better than a lot of other hospitals, flexible hours, a lot of resources are available.

      Cons

      Communication is lacking, lack of accountability from management, meangirl-ish like work environment, the Metairie location doesn't have room for advancement. It seems as if they only want you to stay in one position

      Pros

      The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

      Cons

      I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.

      Pros

      Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Ability to give the best care to all animals walking through the doors. Feeling like I am making a difference in Veterinary Medicine. Never a dull moment.

      Cons

      Can be overwhelming If you do not like fast paced environments, it may not be the best job for you.
