Pros

Incredible company that embraces teamwork and rewards those that work hard. Work- life balance is a priority here. If you're a positive, honest person, you will flourish here. Incredible growth opportunities. Some really amazing doctors/ leaders here. Good benefits. Great friends. Highly recommend to my friends and family.

Cons

High turnover rate, but that's been improving. I think that has been based off of hiring more quality individuals who actually care about their job. Can be a high stress environment, especially in the summer when the work load intensifies. Some doctors elevate the stress. Clients can be really mean, but there's also a lot of nice ones. The stress of being at the ER often brings out their negativity though.

Pros

The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

Cons

I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.

Pros

Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Ability to give the best care to all animals walking through the doors. Feeling like I am making a difference in Veterinary Medicine. Never a dull moment.

Cons

Can be overwhelming If you do not like fast paced environments, it may not be the best job for you.
