Pros

A few good people but they don't seem to last long; they either Liberate themselves or get fired b/c they do not kiss up to the CEO and CTO

Cons

One of the really good Engineering Directors that left for a better job with less BS informed me a few interesting facts: Bonus as percentages of salary are verbally promised but not put in offer letters because YOU WILL NEVER GET THEM unless you're the CEO or CTO pet. Actually, the Executives KNOW they do not allocate enough money to pay the promised bonuses even at the payout percentages. People that do a good job get shafted all the time! The CEO knows the CTO has ownership and rev share in software and consulting companies hired and paid TOP dollar but doesn't care and I bet isn't informing the HCSC board. On that note, the HCSC Board of Directors is either complicit or incompetent, but then again it is a non-profit so they accountability is crap.

This post contains factual errors, and it is our practice to respond when posters make erroneous claims. The company’s incentive compensation policies and procedures are formal, documented and competitive. In fact, every employee is eligible for incentive compensation of some type and more than 98% of our employees received a bonus in 2017. Over the years, we have made changes to bonus and incentive policies to make them more transparent (including adding bonus targets in offer and bonus award letters). In healthcare IT/population health management, people are a significant investment and asset as well as a scarce resource. We are focused on acquiring and retaining the best talent and giving that talent the opportunity to help drive us forward.

Pros

The company's management is the best I ever worked with. They listen to their employees and do real tangible steps to creating an environment where people are valued, respected and can really make a difference. The work-life balance is great. Benefits and pay are more than competitive. Most importantly, The company seriously invests in education and training of the employees. There is very reasonable amount of bureaucracy and lots of common sense all around the place.

Cons

1. It's a fully remote company, it would be great to see colleagues in-person more than once a year. 2. It's healthcare so data protection and security measures are on a top end. Not recommended to people who love working from coffee shops and similar. Still allowed though.

Pros

The people in the middle

Cons

CEO is a brilliant idiot. High IQ but can’t find his way out of a paper bag. Parent company HCSC board needs to fire him yesterday. Should never be a CEO, just not the right seat on the corporate bus.
