Pros

Medecision pays well and the flexible work schedule is nice So, why would you want to work at Medecision? 1) if you are unemployed 2) if you don't mind working on your vacations, nights and weekends (primarily in the technical groups) 3) if you don't mind being led by an executive team that manages with empty slogans: "World-Class employee experience!", "World-Class customer experience!", "MOJO!" 4) if you are a shameless self-promoter. Generously sprinkle in the terms innovation, future state and world-class and you will find yourself on the fast track in no time 5) if you are just there to collect a paycheck, and all of the daily nonsense doesn't get to you

Cons

At this time I can't recommend Medecision to anyone doing technical work (Development, IT, QA) unless you are a glutton for punishment or looking to make more money. Technical work is no longer valued by the company hence the technical departments have been eviscerated and left to the mercy of whoever yells the loudest on a given day. Those positions were replaced by a crop of VPs and other talking heads who attend meetings for a living and create no discernible output. As far as general work environment, Harvard Business School should do a case study on how it is possible to have such wide disconnects between organizational layers and poor communication within a company this small.

Pros

The company's management is the best I ever worked with. They listen to their employees and do real tangible steps to creating an environment where people are valued, respected and can really make a difference. The work-life balance is great. Benefits and pay are more than competitive. Most importantly, The company seriously invests in education and training of the employees. There is very reasonable amount of bureaucracy and lots of common sense all around the place.

Cons

1. It's a fully remote company, it would be great to see colleagues in-person more than once a year. 2. It's healthcare so data protection and security measures are on a top end. Not recommended to people who love working from coffee shops and similar. Still allowed though.

Pros

The people in the middle

Cons

CEO is a brilliant idiot. High IQ but can’t find his way out of a paper bag. Parent company HCSC board needs to fire him yesterday. Should never be a CEO, just not the right seat on the corporate bus.
