Pros

The compensation was excellent, and both my direct manager and the HR director were truly supportive and professional.

Cons

Working at Medecision was a mixed experience. While the compensation was excellent, and both my direct manager and the HR director were truly supportive and professional, the company’s core issues made it difficult to feel proud of the work. The biggest problem is leadership. The CEO fosters a toxic culture, dismisses input and creates an environment where respect and collaboration are in short supply. Strategic decisions are often made based on ego rather than expertise or evidence. The company regularly makes promises to clients that it simply cannot fulfill. Capabilities are exaggerated, and the product is outdated, lacking basic interoperability that most clients expect in today’s market. As a result, client dissatisfaction is widespread. Overpricing is also a major issue. Clients are charged premium rates for a product and service that fall well below expectations. There is potential here, especially with some strong individuals in leadership roles. But meaningful change won’t happen unless there’s a serious shift in how the company values honesty, transparency and its people, both employees and clients. Despite consistently strong feedback from clients, my direct supervisor, and colleagues, who considered me an outstanding contributor, I was unexpectedly informed that my position was being eliminated. Within an hour, I lost all access and was effectively cut off, with no prior warning or opportunity for transition. The way it was handled felt abrupt and impersonal, which was disappointing given the effort and dedication I put into my role.

Pros

The company's management is the best I ever worked with. They listen to their employees and do real tangible steps to creating an environment where people are valued, respected and can really make a difference. The work-life balance is great. Benefits and pay are more than competitive. Most importantly, The company seriously invests in education and training of the employees. There is very reasonable amount of bureaucracy and lots of common sense all around the place.

Cons

1. It's a fully remote company, it would be great to see colleagues in-person more than once a year. 2. It's healthcare so data protection and security measures are on a top end. Not recommended to people who love working from coffee shops and similar. Still allowed though.

Pros

The people in the middle

Cons

CEO is a brilliant idiot. High IQ but can’t find his way out of a paper bag. Parent company HCSC board needs to fire him yesterday. Should never be a CEO, just not the right seat on the corporate bus.
