      Pros

      Antares is a subsidiary company of Medical Mutual Insurance. As an employee you have great benefits, great opportunity to learn from others because you are based out of the company HQ in Strongsville, OH. Being a software developer/solution provider, work comes in heavy at times and others it is relatively slow. Lots of time off when possible. You are mostly able to take off time whenever needed and as long as there are no large projects due. Overall, Antares is the IT company for all Medical Mutual projects.

      Cons

      Not to many downsides. Pay is average for the level you are applying for. The company is very conservative when it comes to new technology or new initiatives. Plan on being on Windows XP until Windows 8?? They are definitely not a technology innovator, but a technology service provider. Providing technology services for Medical Mutual and staying at least 1 version behind the current version of any technology.

      So much team spirit and genuine care amount your team. Nice PTO

      Cons

      Leadership that cares more about their own bonuses and salaries than any employee. ELT is wildly out of touch with how employees feel about them and think of them. The town halls are essentially a butt kissing session for executive leadership. The current ELT has truly ruined this company with their classism, willful ignorance to any opinion that isn’t theirs or in their tax bracket and overall greed. Truly a shame because the staff as a whole (minus ELT) genuinely care about what they do and want to help people, and build a company that shines and is known for its ethics and dedication.
