      Pros

      Great company, great benefits, flexible schedule though depends on which department you are in, good learning opportunities. Fun to work, Great people. I do recommend this company, the best probably company in its field of life sciences, however...see next section

      Cons

      Huge favoritism in software development, engineering department (i.e. platform, study conduct), Need to be good friends with management in order to get promoted or raise in Engineering. I want to emphasize - this is not to apply to all departments across Medidata, because I know few people (not in software development) and they don't observe favoritism.

      Pros

      The company was fantastic when I first started working there, the culture was embracing and supportive. Folks seem to care about your development at first and your growth.

      Cons

      After 3ds bought the company it started going downhill gradually, many c suite turnover, terminations and new latest CEO is clueless when it comes to executing the vision, while also making sure they continue delivering on NEXT all on all these features when at launch half of them don’t even work properly. Having spent years at the company I saw clients lose trust on the products and leadership, a lot of times CEO’s from client side would give advice on senior management on processes which being the vendor we should be the leaders on guidance not the other way around. Consider applying to other SaaS companies.
