Pros

Medix emphasizes hiring good people, which is reflected in the team (but this causes a huge diversity issue). You have the ability to network across the organization. Good benefits (mental health days, gym reimbursement, student loan, etc).

Cons

Before 2022, Medix valued its employees and was a great place to work. Executives and leadership got a taste of $$ in COVID, and it's been a downward spiral since, especially with the investment backing adding additional pressure. The issues start at the top, as the company is run by an underqualified executive team. They stress that Medix "is the best staffing agency in the world" but there are constant restructs, layoffs, and firings. This has created a traumatic and toxic culture. You will be expected to put in extra hours, you will be compensated well below the industry average, and if you're not catching on quickly you will be let go. The turnover rate is atrocious, and they're not doing anything to change it.
