Someone working as an administrative assistant for 20 years at medtronic has the ability to retire a Millionaire. I would recommend coming to work here to anyone with an interest in contributing to the well being of others.
Cons
The hours can be long at times and the change is very fast paced (this is also a great reason to be here as it is never boring). The expectations are high of our employee's so Medtronic is not for the faint of heart. Working for the industry leader (as we are in most every device category we compete in, means a lot of competitors taking cheap shots at us. I can't think of anything else that is a downside of working here. The people are great, you will be surrounded by the best of the best when you work for Medtronic.
