      1. Excellent compensation and benefits 2. Secure and stable industry 3. Well-established product lines -> steady revenues 4. Friendly environment that is easy to work in.

      Cons

      1. Frequent organizational changes. 2. Lack of accountability. 3. Lack of strong leadership talent at the executive level. 4. Poor communication of operational-level (as opposed to strategic-level) plans and actions.

      Pros

      Generous, old-school benefits. Almost twice the PTO as other places I've worked, excellent healthcare, 401K matching, etc. Many high-quality colleagues and a generally mellow, polite business culture.

      Cons

      Multiple competing bureaucracies, internal consultancies, a computer-illiterate 'stakeholder' class with permission to disrupt anything, and perverse incentives driving waste.
